October 10th, 2005 Dr. Colin P. Britcher is appointed Chairman of the Department.
December 1st, 2005 Dr. Jerry Creedon joins the Department, from the Office of Research.He will continue to serve as ODUs Director of Transportation Research and will continue to pursue research programs related to the National Air Space system.
December 3rd, 2005 the AIAA Student Chapter visits the National Air and Space Museum, Washington D.C..
December 5th, 2005 the new automotive balance is moved to NASAs 14 by 22 wind tunnel in preparation for a proof-of-concept tunnel entry.
