Dr. Jiang Li

Assistant Professor

Ph.D., University of Texas at Arlington, Signal and Image Processing, Machine Learning, Computer-aided Diagnosis, Modeling and Simulation.

Dr. Jiang Li received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China, in 1992, the M.S. degree in automation from Tsinghua University, China, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, TX, in 2004. His research interests include machine learning, computer-aided medical diagnosis systems, medical signal/image processing, neural network and modeling and simulation. He is also affiliated with Virginia Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation Center(VMASC).

Dr. Li worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the department of radiology, National Institutes of Health, from 2004 to 2006. He joined ODU as an assistant professor in 2006. He is a member of the IEEE and Sigma Xi.
