See ODU News of the Week Dr. Mounir Laroussi is the New Director of the Laser and Plasma Engineering Institute (LPEI)
Dr. Mounir Laroussi of the ECE department is the new Director of The Laser and Plasma Engineering Institute (LPEI), formerly known as Physical Electronics Research Institute(PERI).
LPEI is a research facility focused on conducting fundamental and applied research using laser and plasma technologies. Its mission is to offer a state-of-the-art facility and a vibrant academic environment where faculty and students engage in advanced research encompassing fundamental and applied research in the fields of lasers, plasmas, and their applications in engineering.
