  • Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC)

    VMASC supports Department of Defense simulation and training technology development and conducts reserach to improve corporate and human performance. VMASC houses extensive facilities for interactive three-dimensional graphics (virtual reality), as well as a battle lab.

  • Applied Research Center (ARC)

    ARC is an advanced materials science engineering and laser technology reserach center. Staffed with industry / university teams utilizing the Jefferson Lab technologies, ARC provides commercial product-related research in the areas of thin film technology, laser and plasma processing of materials analysis, and devices and sensor fabrication.

  • Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics

    Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics works to increase scientific knowledge and understanding of the interaction of electromagnetic fields and ionized gases with biological cells and to apply this knowledge to the development of medical diagnostics, therapeutics and environmental decontamination.
