I first met Dr. Amin Dharamsi, my graduate advisor, in the spring of 1995 and began working with him in the area of non-intrusive laser measurements of gases. Dr. Dharamsi's example of excellence in teaching and research inspired me to seek a tenure-track faculty position in the Electrical Engineering Department of a research university, which I hope will provide me the opportunity to develop and maintain my own research program in the physical electronics area.
