My job has allowed me to keep in contact with the faculty, staff and students of the Old Dominion University Frank Batten College of Engineering and Technology, during my entire career. Encouraged by my ODU professors to be involved in engineering and technical societies, I have served on committees and Boards of several organizations. In all of these organizations, we have seen the significant contribution of Old Dominion University to the betterment of the engineering profession

and the community in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The Hampton Roads area has many terrific career opportunities for BCET graduates. As a student, I was introduced to my future employer, Joe Glenn at an ASCE meeting with the student chapter at the ODU Webb Center and more recently I, too, have been introduced to ODU engineering students that I have hired to join our firm.
