ABOUT: TECHNOLOGICAL LEADERSHIP...

Technological Leadership represents a combination of skills, attitudes, and ethics applied to the conduct of project and program management in a technology-based or technology dependent enterprise. Technological Leadership emphasizes the understanding of the context of the project or program in the larger organization and society; it encompasses the immediate goals of the project as well as the goals and mission of parent organization and the users of the product or service which is the focus of the project; it is pursuing what is needed in addition to providing what is asked. Technological Leadership is characterized by anticipating solutions to problems which have yet to be articulated. Technological Leadership is about initiative and achieving goals; it is about communicating to others your vision and goal; it is about motivating team members and higher management to follow your approaches and solutions. Ultimately, Technological Leadership is about recognizing the "big picture" and using that recognition to increase the value and reduce the risks of the project/program for which you are responsible.
