Engineering Management students and faculty have an extensive range of resources available at their disposal to support and enhance research activities through the services provided by Old Dominion University and its Research Centers.

Students have access to the extensive computer laboratories throughout the university. For more focused research, specialized simulation software and hardware is available through the Virginia Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation Center (VMASC).

The Old Dominion University library provides a full complement of state-of-the-art services. The University library contains more than 2 million items that are accessible through an on-line Public Access Catalog that can be searched from terminals in the library and from remote locations on and off campus. Further services offered by the library's Reference and Research Services include:

  • Automated services such as CD-ROM indexes to journal literature,
  • Government publications and statistics on CD-ROM,
  • ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Ingenta and other databases that offer indexing and full text articles to general, business, and academic research publications

The Old Dominion University Library also forms part of The Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA). VIVA provides enhanced access to library and information resources for the Commonwealth of Virginia's non-profit academic libraries serving the higher education community.
