Academic Programs

The Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering offers programs leading to the degrees of Master of Engineering Management (M.E.M.); Master of Science (M.S.) program in Engineering Management for those who seek a thesis based research oriented graduate degree; Master of Engineering (M.E.) program in Systems Engineering; and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering Management. The Department also offers a post-master's Certificate of Professional Study in Engineering Management for students who would like to continue their studies beyond the Master's degree level, but are not inclined to make the commitment required of a research oriented Ph.D. program. The Department supports the University's undergraduate curricula by offering an undergraduate minor in Engineering Management. The minor consists of a series of undergraduate courses on the themes of project management and decision making.
