My Research interests include Response Surface Methodology, as well as, Applied Statistical Methods.  Moreover, I believe these methods can be used very successfully to optimize products and processes.  These methods might also be incorporated in creating artificial intelligence that can manage and control self-healing systems, especially scheduling systems.
