Tom is a doctoral student in the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA.

He works as a DoD consultant and information technology professional, specializing in industry-focused solutions, systems analysis, business process design and implementation.

Tom received his B.S.B.A. degree, cum laude, in Information Systems and M.E. degree in Modeling and Simulation from ODU.

His research interests include data management, verification and validation of data models, virtual simulation in distributed environments within the homeland security domain, and modeling and simulation.
