Description: Self-Guided Tour of Governor's Palace and Gardens. When the Governor's Palace was completed in 1722, it was considered one of the finest buildings in British North America. The elegant and imposing residence housed seven royal governors and the commonwealth's first two state governors, Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson. It was reconstructed on the original foundations and opened to the public in April 1934. The furnishings are based on an inventory taken in October 1770 upon the death of Gov. Norborne Berkeley, Baron de Botetourt. The Palace complex includes a stable, kitchen and elaborate gardens.

Description: The Gabriel Archer Tavern, as featured in 
The New York Times, is nestled among the vineyards with a beautiful countryside view. Savor a French Country Platter with assorted patés, meats, cheeses and freshly baked bread or one of our sandwiches served with a baby green salad with dried cranberries, crushed pecans and topped with our Raspberry Vinaigrette. Seating is available, weather permitting, on the outside terrace where you can dine under a canopy of wisteria, enjoy a glass of wine and take in the beautiful vineyard view.
1:30 p.m. Williamsburg Winery Tour

Description: Your guided tour includes a video presentation on grape growing (viticulture) and winemaking (oenology), a stroll through the barrel cellar and a visit to the production area. In the museum you will enjoy a collection of unique and rare vintage wine bottles with a grand finale tasting of seven of our wines in an etched wine glass that is yours to take home as a keepsake.

Description: Our three mile boardwalk is only part of what makes the resort area so irresistible. From Croatan Beach to the south up to the North End beaches, this is where Virginia Beach reveals its outgoing nature, with a park like atmosphere that goes on for miles.
In addition to the many oceanfront hotels and restaurant that line the Boardwalk, there are upscale shops and street-style vendors, amusement areas, historic museums, an array of sculptures and monuments, a traditional fishing pier, live outdoor entertainment stands much more.

The unique bar extends through a glass wall and offers seating inside the restaurant, as well as outside facing Neptune's Park.
