Student Organizations
There are several student organizations in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. These include:
- ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers)
- AAIA ODU (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics ODU Student Branch)
- Pi Tau Sigma (The Mechanical Engineering Honor Society)
- SAE (The Society of Automotive Engineers)
These organizations participate in design competitions, host guest speakers, offers services to the department and provide for social and recreational needs of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering students.
