Advancing the body of knowledge and state-of-the art relating to engineering complex system of systems

Promoting an extensive systems of systems engineering research agenda.

Building collaborative partnerships and relationships with academic, government, and industrial organizations.

Educating tomorrow's systems of systems engineers to function effectively in changing systems engineering environments.

Leading the establishment of standards of performance, the body of knowledge, and best  practices for the discipline of systems of systems engineering.
